FOR EDUCATORS
With the principals of nature education, even the youngest members of society are brought in contact with nature, to take the fear of the unknown, to plant the seeds for better understanding our natural world around us and to lay the fundament for education for sustainable development.
Some benefits of outdoor learning:
- Getting children out of the classroom raises standards, motivation, personal development and behavior
- Children who spend time learning in natural environments perform better in reading, mathematics, science and social studies
- Fieldwork in the countryside improves long- term memory
- And sharp improvements in attention can be seen when children are exposed to wildlife and the outdoors
Our goal is to foster a greater appreciation, awareness and love of the natural environment.
